Legacy with modern tools
The website preserved the feeling of a beloved road-trip stop while giving Hadley’s stronger tools for ecommerce, menus and product organization.
BurkeMedia Work
A modern ecommerce website and content system for a historic Southern California roadside landmark.
Project overview
Hadley Fruit Orchards is a historic Cabazon and San Gorgonio Pass roadside landmark known for dates, dried fruit, nuts, gifts, date shakes and its iconic Interstate 10 location. The project focused on honoring that legacy while helping the business sell, organize and market itself more effectively online.
The work included a full website rebuild, ecommerce functionality, inventory organization, product photography, promotional video, social media content and historical storytelling about the original owners and early history of the business.
A historic brand deserves a website that can sell online without losing the story people already love.
How the work came together
The website preserved the feeling of a beloved road-trip stop while giving Hadley’s stronger tools for ecommerce, menus and product organization.
Dates, dried fruits, nuts, snacks, gifts and specialty items needed a structure that served shoppers and the internal team.
Historical photos and information helped flesh out the history page and connect the brand to the people who built it.
