For Emerge Home Services, BurkeMedia helped build a connected digital and operational ecosystem designed to support growth across home services, real estate, agent websites, internal management and customer-facing online tools.
The work focused on creating a more centralized platform instead of relying on disconnected websites, logins and databases. SuiteCRM became the business dashboard, while WordPress powered public-facing sites and agent web experiences.
CRM foundation
A major part of the project involved setting up and customizing SuiteCRM as a central source of truth for company data, users, contacts, agents and operational workflows.
The CRM was designed to help organize important business information so staff could manage users, contacts, agents and operational details from a more centralized dashboard.
Instead of managing information across separate systems, the project created a foundation where the CRM could support public websites, staff workflows and future platform growth.
WordPress integration
BurkeMedia worked on connecting SuiteCRM with WordPress so information could move between the internal dashboard and public-facing websites. This included syncing agent information from SuiteCRM into WordPress, helping agent profiles and related website content stay easier to manage.
The broader Emerge Realtors / agent website network concept allowed individual agents to have their own WordPress-powered websites while staying connected to the larger Emerge system.
Single sign-on
A major technical piece was the single sign-on experience between SuiteCRM and WordPress. BurkeMedia developed an SSO flow so users could log into their connected WordPress site from inside the SuiteCRM dashboard.
The SSO flow helped agents and staff move between the CRM and their website tools more easily, reducing friction and making the system feel more connected.
The project included custom dashlet work inside SuiteCRM, including a dashboard tool that allowed users to log into their website directly from the CRM.
Infrastructure & troubleshooting
BurkeMedia also handled technical infrastructure details that helped support multiple connected websites and user roles over time. This included subdomain setup, DNS planning, SuiteCRM installation, API troubleshooting, OAuth2 configuration, WordPress plugin development, custom login paths and security-related setup.
These pieces helped create the foundation for a scalable system where the website network, CRM data and user access could work together as the company grew.
